Royal Cowrie Shell Ring Size 7

Royal Cowrie Shell Ring in Sterling Silver 18g wire. The Shell is approx 1 inch long. This is my signature piece. Also available in earrings and pendants. I handmade this ring using only a mandrel and pliers.

Forklore: The Cowrie Shell represents the Divine Vulva and conveyed rebirth. Prized throughout the middle east for supposed healing and regenerative powers. Cowrie shells were used as far back as 20,000 to decorate the human form. In India amulets against the" evil eye". Muslim women wear during pregnancy. The Japanese in wardrobes "for luck". Gypspies value the cowrie above all other kinds of amulets.
